Ziba Design’s headquarters located in the Pearl District has become a landmark for the area. With it’s sleek design and massive size, the Ziba building stands out among the surrounding area. At 76,000 square feet and 3 stories, the building houses Ziba’s headquarters and has room for ground floor retail, and TI space on the 3rd floor.

American Heating installed 3 Aaon rooftop units to serve the building – one of those is dedicated to their auditorium. Seventy six terminal units were also installed to efficiently distribute the air over the 3 floors. A Daikin VRF system was installed to serve future tenant spaces which included a 16-ton condensing unit.

Located between Southwest Fifth and Sixth avenue and College and Jackson streets, Portland State University’s new 16 story dorm will have room to house nearly 1,000 students.

The heating & cooling system for the building is comprised of Mitsubishi City-Multi VRFZ system that consists of 27 roof mounted heat pumps and 343 indoor fan coils. Nearly 50,000 feet of refrigeration piping will be installed in the building to distribute the heating and cooling load. The flexibility of the City-Multi system will allow each individual dorm room to have control of their own indoor environment.
