Brian Shea, PE
Brian graduated with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portland and immediately began work in the HVAC industry as a sales engineer for a manufacturer’s rep company in San Antonio, TX. He returned to Portland in 1998 when he joined American Heating as a project engineer. In 2003 Brian became a professional engineer and was promoted to General Manager, Operations.

Dale Hammett
Starting in HVAC in 1980, Dale has experience in HVAC installation, estimating, design and management. Since 1992, Dale has been a project manager with American Heating specializing in commercial office buildings and DDC controls.

Ken McKinley
Ken entered the HVAC industry in 1973 and has been an estimator/project manager since 1979 specializing in commercial design/build projects.

Bob Smith (Smitty)
Bob (Smitty) started in the HVAC field in 1967 and has experience in installation, estimating as well as project management. Smitty manages our Special Projects Department focusing on retrofit unit change-outs, remodel projects and special projects.

Travis Young
Travis started in HVAC in 1998 as an assistant project manager. After gaining experience in sheetmetal estimating, he joined American Heating in 2002 and he is an estimator and assistant project manager.

Rick Luepton
Rick started in the HVAC industry as a sheetmetal apprentice in 1977. He joined American Heating in 1983 where he became a foreman and then superintendent.

Jim Reynolds
In 1966 Jim started his career as a sheetmetal apprentice. After turning out as a journeyman, he worked at just one firm before joining American Heating in 1994. He was promoted to superintendent in 1998.

Jess Seifert
Jess started AutoCAD training in 1991. He has been involved in the drafting of electrical, plumbing and HVAC plans. Jess is proficient in CAD drafting and keeps up to date with the latest releases of AutoCAD and CADPIPE HVAC.
